Massage
Our massages follow the Swedish Style: Gliding strokes with soothing natural oils aim to increase blood and lymph flow, and inform us of your unique needs. They calm the central nervous system and deeply relax. Kneading strokes loosen muscle tissue, intensify fluid movement, and break up congestion. Kneading gets down in there. Tapping, hacking movements, reach deeper yet, even loosening respiratory congestion.
We vary emphasis according to a client's needs and preference and strive to use as much pressure as is safe and can be enjoyed.
30 Minute Intensives two to three times a week may best address acute and chronic muscular pain. An hour of massage a week is the best part of your health maintenance regimen.
The European model suggests 6 to 12 massages to get good results. An hour of massage a week can be a vital part of your health maintenance regimen. We offer full body massage up to 2 hours in length. A massage for your birthday is better than any material gift.
Four-handed massage, Katja and Liese working together to double the benefits and pleasure and give you the opportunity to discover preference between our styles.
Our massage tables are heated and we fully drape clients for warmth and modesty, only exposing the area being massaged. If however you prefer to do without the cover or heat please let us know. We strive to meet all of our clients needs on an individual basis.
We also offer chair massage, pregnancy massage, private lessons and home visits.

European Facial
Our Facials aim to improve the health and appearance of your face, neck, and shoulders. We practice in the European model, emphasizing pore cleansing and massage, over product and make-up application. In our Facials we smooth skin, open pores through steaming, extract impurities manually, and relax tension while increasing blood circulation with massage.
Eyebrow shaping with wax or tweezing, other waxing of unwanted facial hair and lash- or brow-tinting are additional services we can perform during the course of a facial.
Regular Facials can help control common skin impurities such as acne, blackheads,and whiteheads. While you are here we can also help you adjust or create a home skin care program that is right for your skin's needs. We are certain that a regular facial program will become a relaxing joy in your life.
Liese can treat your partner, friend, sister or mother at the same time you come for your appointment. She can also offer you a pedicure or manicure while you are receiving your facial for twice the pampering in half the time.
Katja attended the Kosmetikschule Ursula Rasch in Kassel, Germany, receiving very specific training in the performing of Facials. She has worked in the field of skin care since 1978, when she apprenticed at Bernd Albrecht Massage Institut in Schwalmstadt, Germany, where she was born and raised. Katja has worked in spas in Germany, Texas and Michigan and has served Hillsdale County since 1990.

Wax Hair Removal
Tired of having to pluck your eyebrows twice a week or trading leg or bikini area hair for unsightly razor burn or bumps?
We offer removal of unwanted hair all over the body* by waxing with Gigi Honey Wax and cotton strips.
Eyebrow shaping is our most requested waxing service and can be added to any other service.
Note: You receive the best results from waxing if you let hair grow to at least 1/4 inch, or as long as possible.
Waxing is a tried and true method of temporary hair removal with varying growth retarding tendencies. Unlike laser hair removal, waxing does not put you at risk for pigmentation problems.
*Brazilian Waxing (waxing of entire pubic area) is no longer offered at this spa. We are glad to wax everything else, including backs, arms, bellies, toes, buttocks and scalps. Please call for price quotes.
Tinting
Eyebrow and lash tinting is simply coloring the lashes and brows to match hair color or to darken light hair that blends with your skin tone. Accentuate your beautiful eyes and create a dramatic effect with this unique service.
